The Altitude Junkies team and Sherpas have reached Camp 2 which is at an elevation of 25,590 feet. They had a beautiful day with no wind and temperatures that were almost too warm for comfort.
I received this information through the Altitude Junkies dispatches link. You may want to check in at www.altitudejunkies.com as this site has many photos including a few of Robert.

Climbing Mount Everest is a very challenging and rewarding expedition. Climbers must hike for over a week to access base camp, and then spend the next several weeks climbing the lower sections of the mountain and returning to base camp to let their bodies acclimate to the extreme altitude. Conditions rage from sunny, warm days to intense cold and wind. Climbers must be physically and mentally prepared for 60 days of climbing in a remote location, as well as having the skills and equipment required to climb at extreme altitude.
